At CSM House of Prayer, the saints come together with reverence. In unity, we fellowship as we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, as we are reminded in Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
Together, in one accord with a Kingdom mindset, we forge ahead in discipleship, love, teaching, and learning. We stand together in prayer as God’s warriors, in agreement and in faith, fighting the good fight as the redeemed, the chosen, and the ones God has called for such a time as this. His grace is sufficient for us as sons and daughters of the Most High.
We stand with one another. We intercede and fight spiritual battles, knowing that we are not alone in this journey. We are a strong and set-apart family who uplift one another in prayer, encourage each other, and lend a helping hand wherever we can. Whatever we do, we do it for the glory of Yeshua, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Above all, we are constantly reminded that the Lord’s grace is sufficient for us, as we are taught in 2 Corinthians 12:9:
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
The Lord’s grace upholds us, strengthens us and carries us through. Every Sunday morning at our Celebration Services, we receive a fresh and Holy Spirit inspired word that reminds us that we are covered, called and chosen.
This allows us to clothe ourselves in Kingdom robes as we are taught and to SELAH, just as the Psalmist, David, practiced throughout the Psalms. As Scripture teaches us:
“My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”
Selah
Psalm 62:7–8 (NIV)
Selah means to pause, reflect and praise.
And this is how we overcome, by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Abba Father, we humbly and graciously approach you in the name of your precious son Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. We thank you for your grace that carries us each day and pray that you will continue to strengthen us to walk in unity, faith and holiness Lord. Help us to pause, reflect and praise as we trust in you. May your presence lead us and your Holy Spirit empower us to live for Your glory.
In Jesus’ Mighty name, Amen.
